Modulation of the gut microbiota-adipose tissue-muscle interactions by prebiotics

چکیده

The gut microbiota is now widely recognized as an important factor contributing to the regulation of host metabolic functions. Numerous studies describe imbalance in microbial ecosystem response energy-dense diet that drives development disorders. In this context, manipulation by food components acting prebiotics appears a promising strategy. Several have already investigated beneficial potency prebiotics, mostly inulin-type fructans, on metabolism and key intestinal functions including hormone release. For last 20 years, several non-digestible compounds present been shown modulate influence essential organs involved control energy homeostasis. To date, numerous reviews summarize impact liver or brain. Here we propose mechanisms which through modulation endocrine functions, modulates cross-talk communication between gut, adipose tissue skeletal muscles.

Prebiotics and gut microbiota in chickens.

Prebiotics are non-digestible feed ingredients that are metabolized by specific members of intestinal microbiota and provide health benefits for the host. Fermentable oligosaccharides are best known prebiotics that have received increasing attention in poultry production. They act through diverse mechanisms, such as providing nutrients, preventing pathogen adhesion to host cells, interacting wi...

Adipose tissue NAPE-PLD controls fat mass development by altering the browning process and gut microbiota

Obesity is a pandemic disease associated with many metabolic alterations and involves several organs and systems. The endocannabinoid system (ECS) appears to be a key regulator of energy homeostasis and metabolism. Here we show that specific deletion of the ECS synthesizing enzyme, NAPE-PLD, in adipocytes induces obesity, glucose intolerance, adipose tissue inflammation and altered lipid metabo...

The role of microbiota, probiotics and prebiotics in dermatology

Probiotics are living microorganisms that, when used adequately, have beneficial effects on the host, and their superiority is that they are safe and secure for the host. The use of probiotics in addition to the digestive tract, has been studied in immune function, skin diseases, diabetes, cancer, liver disease, hypertension, urogenital system and oral cavity. In general, probiotics seem to be ...
